Clare McMurray's work in welfare in addition to starting up a Kindergarten, a School, an Education and Employment Training Centre and language courses included organising activities, groups and recreational activities.

A number of different activities were established including a theatre group, concerts, plays and indoor sport.

'Evenings were often spent with concerts, plays, cinema and indoor sport. They were remarkably talented and we had well know singers from Belgrade Opera Company, ballet dancers and musicians and a very good theatre group'.

Programs and photos are presented below. As you can see in the photos, there was a great response to these programs and activities. The school grew from two classes to 400 students in one year.
